1. The Dynamic Duo: Sky Piercer + Her UltimateHirara's Ultimate (Scarlet Liberation) expands her energy pool to 6 bars and extends its duration by 4 seconds every time she gets a kill or assist. Why Sky Piercer is perfect: Because Hirara's skills have a small delay before dealing their massive second hit, enemies sometimes have a tiny window to flash away or get shielded. Sky Piercer instantly eliminates them the moment they drop below the HP threshold. This guarantees you secure the kill, resets your Ultimate timer, and keeps your high-energy combo streak alive. 2. The Early Game Patch: Magic Boots + Hunter StrikeHirara is notoriously weak and slow during her initial early-game jungle clear. Why you chose this: Moving from Magic Boots straight into Hunter Strike gives you an immediate 20% Cooldown Reduction. Since Hirara's combo energy recharges faster based on her Cooldown Reduction, this allows you to spam your drag-and-drop skills much earlier in the match. Plus, the movement speed burst from Hunter Strike makes her map rotations insanely fast. 3. Sustained True Damage: War AxeHirara is a pure physical scaling assassin. Why you chose this: As a fight drags on, War Axe builds up physical attack and starts dealing True Damage. It also gives you Spell Vamp (healing from skills). Because Hirara has multi-hit skills like Infernal Torrent, she stacks War Axe's passive almost instantly, allowing her to shred through targets while healing back her HP. 4. Zero Counterplay: Malefic RoarWhy you chose this: In the late game, enemy Marksmen will buy Wind of Nature or Antique Cuirass, and Tanks will stack physical defense. Malefic Roar provides massive percentage-based physical penetration. It ensures that your high-multiplier skill fusions (like the 3.5x damage on Falling Maple) completely ignore their armor. 5. The Fatal Error Insurance: Queen's WingsHirara is the definition of a glass cannon—if you mess up a single drag-and-drop input, you usually die instantly.

Drag & Drop

Emblem: Custom Assassin Emblem (for adaptive penetration and movement speed). Talent 1 (Rupture): Extra early-game flat penetration. Talent 2 (Seasoned Hunter): Speeds up her Lord/Turtle take-downs since she can struggle against neutral objectives solo. Talent 3 (Lethal Ignition or Killing Spree): Lethal Ignition guarantees multi-hit burst kills, while Killing Spree pairs perfectly with her ultimate for high-speed chain kills.

Battle Spell

While some high-mobility assassins can occasionally flex into a lane with Sprint or Flicker, Hirara is fundamentally locked into the Jungle role, making Retribution the absolute best (and only viable) battle spell for her for several major reasons: 1. Severe Lane Minion Damage Penalty ******* hard-coded a massive restriction into Hirara's passive: she only deals 30% damage to lane minions. If you try to take her to the EXP, Gold, or Mid lane, you will be completely unable to clear minion waves efficiently, leaving you starved for gold and experience. Because her normal damage only applies to jungle monsters, you must take Retribution to farm the jungle. 2. Overcoming Her Slow Early-Game Clear Hirara's early game is notoriously weak because her damage relies on multi-hits with short delays, and her base skill scaling is low until she gets items. Retribution is completely necessary to deal the burst true damage required to clear her buffs and minor camps at a competitive speed. Without it, her clear speed drops significantly, making her fall behind the enemy jungler. 3. Protection Against Early Invades Because of her slow initial clear, Hirara is a prime target for aggressive, early-game invaders like Hylos, Masha, or Baxia who want to steal her blue buff. Having Retribution gives you a secure finishing tool to secure the last-hit on your buffs so the enemy tank or jungler can't walk into your jungle and steal them from you. 4. Synergy with Ice Retribution for Chasing When you equip Retribution and upgrade it to Ice Retribution, it can be cast directly on enemy heroes to steal their movement speed. Since Hirara relies on landing highly precise drag-and-drop combos (like hitting the delayed second phase of her Skill 1 or her Infernal Torrent combo), the slow from Ice Retribution locks the target down, making it significantly easier to trace your skills and guarantee your full burst hits.

Lanning tips

High-Tier Tips & Tricks 1. Master the "Pre-Drag" Technique Because dragging and dropping skills takes time, don't wait until you're right next to an enemy to start dragging. While sitting in a bush and waiting for an enemy to walk by, hold down Skill 1 and hover it over Skill 2. The moment they enter your range, release it to instantly trigger Infernal Torrent (the immobilizing spin). This cuts your reaction time in half. 2. The Delayed Damage "Bait" Hirara's base fan slash (and her Infernal Torrent combo) features a delayed explosion that deals double the initial damage. The Trick: Bad players often retreat immediately if they miss the first swipe. Instead, use your Skill 2 dash to force an enemy to move backward into the area where the delayed explosion is about to detonate. Position yourself behind them so that their natural escape route leads them directly into your damage zone. Laning & Early Game Precautions (The Danger Zone) Because you are using Sky Piercer, falling behind early is an absolute disaster since you lose execution stacks whenever you die. You must respect her weak early game. Never Wave-Clear: As mentioned before, her passive reduces her damage to lane minions to a pathetic 30%. If a lane is empty, do not waste time trying to clear it alone. It takes too long, puts your skills on cooldown, and exposes your position on the map. Let your Mage or Marksman handle the waves; your job is strictly in the jungle or hiding in bushes. The Level 1-2 Vulnerability: Hirara's jungle clear is slow before she gets her items. If the enemy team has an aggressive early-game roamer (such as Hylos, Tigreal, or Grock), they may try to invade your jungle and reset your Blue Buff. Precaution: Ask your roamer or mid laner to guard your bushes at the start of the match. If you get invaded and lose your first buff, play safely, power-farm your minor camps, and avoid high-risk ganks until you complete Hunter Strike.
